Hombres G
On June 8th, fans of rock en español- that's Rock in Spanish- have a great chance to see two classic bands perform together at the legendary Fillmore. Spanish rock group Hombres G, whose heyday was in the 1980's, are still going strong. They will be performing their greatest hits, and perhaps their best known song is "Devuelveme a mi Chica".
As if seeing this great Spanish band wasn't enough, their opening act is the Argentinean group Enanitos Verdes (that's Spanish for "little green men"). They are also veterans of the Spanish rock scene, and are probably best known for one of my favorite rock en español songs, "Lamento Boliviano".
A word to the fan who wants to attend this show: tickets are pricy. Try Craigslist before Ticketmaster.
